2020 Carpentry installed a triple set of walnut vinyl wardrobes into a master bedroom. The large space provided enabled varying storage options from double hanging, adjustable shelving, drawers and a sleek accessories drawer for belts, ties, watches, etc.
2020 carpentry recently replaced 550 Metres of shiplap Cladding, firstly, we had to gain the profile of the existing cladding and have the profile matched once the shiplap was milled, we painted it 3 times on all sides so it was was weather tight and would last many years. Installation took place and boards were fitted having to fit around many windows including replacing lead work above. Overall the replacement transformed the house and made it look new and fresh like it would have years ago.
2020 Carpentry custom made and installed hand painted loft room furniture. The work consisted of a set of double wardrobes which had a drawer pack fitted internally and a run of angled wardrobes that follow the roof line which incorporated various storage and hanging space.
Custom made and installed a master bedroom with contemporary gloss walnut furniture. The renovation included a Gentleman’s wardrobe, Dressing table, large Double Wardrobe and a TV alcove unit. Overall the new look transformed a very ordinary room into a stylish and attractive bedroom space.
2020 Carpentry transformed a second bedroom, incorporating a single bed with office space. A cabin bed was fitted which had storage cupboards and a drawer pack underneath, then a Kidney shaped desk was installed, again with a drawer pack for useful storage of office equipment. All the furniture was hand painted to a high quality finish giving it the New England style look.
Custom built and installed modern storage cabinets for dining area all having to be designed to hide existing pipework and meters. Walnut Carcasses and slab doors were fitted with push catches, so it became a handle-less concept giving a clean cut contemporary look.
2020 carpentry were asked to design an existing kitchen to look and feel more spacious once plans were agreed work commenced. After removing a wall and the kitchen made in the workshop. The hand made pine kitchen was installed with new appliances and granite to give a fresh, spacious feel to the area, thus leaving the customer with exactly what was asked for.
Installed solid oak floor which was sourced by the customer and we finished it with a clear satin lacquer to bring the floor to life and give it a great finish. The client had a good idea of design for the alcove unit and with a few minor changes to their approval. The spray painted storage units with a thick oak top and modern display shelves were installed to an aesthetically pleasing look.
Increasing in popularity, due to flat televisions being fitted on walls. 2020 carpentry was asked to design and custom build two media units for this purpose. Both units incorporated drawers for DVD and CD storage and flap down frontals so media players and boxes could be stored discretely. The units were finished with a limed affect to match the existing oak floor.
Completed the task of transforming a second bedroom into a dressing room and office. The works consisted of two hand made full height wardrobes including various shelving and hanging rails. Finally a desk incorporating a drawer pack and cupboard finished off the renovation of this room.
The Gate House Bed & Breakfast opening on the 20/04/09 has recently just been completed. a lot of work has been under taken by 2020 carpentry including general carpentry works, a fitted kitchen, hand crafted solid oak alcove units, solid oak tables, 4 fitted bedrooms - all rooms being fitted with different types of timber indigenous to Epping Forest. 2020 Carpentry recently designed, hand made and installed a low level cinema unit and corner desk into a loft space in Loughton, Essex, 04/03/09. The cinema unit comprised of 4 DVD/CD drawers and 2 drop down doors for the home cinema systems to be housed in. The desk incorporated a low level integrated fridge/freezer amongst various drawers packs and cupboards creating a modern and sleek office space.
We recently completed a hand cut roof in Loughton, Essex, 03/04/09. The roof was cut into an existing property which is having a large double extension. The roof entailed extending the ridge board, a new hip was formed, off of which two hip end dormers were installed to the front and rear elevation.
Paradise Park Children’s Centre in Islington, North London has won the Local Authority Award of the Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award 2007, a special Category within the British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA)
Consequently it was important that when refurbishing the interior area of cafe /reception that it reflected the high standard of design and finish that warranted this award.
